Policy
What's your estimate turnaround for galleries?
Weddings can range from 1-2 months, but due to the increasing demand for photographers and busy seasons, please be advised that turnaround can be increased to 2-3 months.
Generally, for most other sessions, turnaround ranges from 2-6 weeks.
Do you have a "booking fee"?
Yes, or better known as a “retainer”. 25%-50% of your package price is required upfront to reserve your date. This is NON-REFUNDABLE. No exceptions. This fee covers initial communication, all planning, location hunting, and block off a specific time frame for your session.
Tardiness
Please plan enough time to get to your session. If you are running late, please call us. We respect every single client's time and put an incredible amount of effort into scheduling and planning a session, so please respect ours. If you have a 60 minute session scheduled and you are 20 minutes late, you will then have a 40 minute session. If you are more than 30 minutes late without calling, you will forfeit your booking fee and we will have the right to cancel the session. We of course understand unforeseen circumstances such as illness or accidents. If we are late, we will communicate that with you and your session time will not be affected.
Can I purchase RAWs?
Clients typically cannot purchase raw images from photographers because raw files are unprocessed and unfinished files that require significant editing and adjustments to achieve the final product. The raw image files are like negatives in traditional film photography, they need to be developed in order to bring out the final image.
As photographers, we spend a considerable amount of time and effort post-processing our images, including adjusting color balance, exposure, contrast, saturation, and other elements to create the final, polished product. Providing raw files would mean handing over unfinished work that does not represent our artistic vision or brand.
Additionally, giving clients raw files can lead to misrepresentation of the photographer's work. Clients may edit the files in ways that do not align with the photographer's artistic style, which could reflect poorly on the photographer's portfolio or brand.
For these reasons, it is common practice for photographers to retain control over the editing process and only provide clients with the final edited images. This ensures that the final product reflects the photographer's artistic vision and meets the client's expectations.
